The restoration that has been does is quite extensive as the whole of the rim has been restored from the top down for about an inch, just to the top of the fruit. It has been very well done but we believe it has been done quite recently as there is no discolouration at present. It is quite difficult to identify and is more obvious by looking inside the vase as the new glaze has some run marks. Other than this, tehre are a coupleof tiny chips to teh glaze around the underside of the base and there is crackling to the glaze. The base is marked MOORCROFT BURSLEM ENGLAND and M something but the unglazed base is so crackled it is impossible to decipher the number.
