These are 19th century and have good pontil marks tothe base. Each of the bases are also painted in red/brown 167 to one and 109 to the other. Both of the jugs are in good order having no obvious chips or cracks although there is some pitting to the white enamelling on both jugs. They also originally had gilt banding around the rim to the neck and the base which is very worn and almost non- existent on one jug.
