Waters and Gill, a late 18th Century brass barrelled flintlock pistol, the 20cm brass barrel marked London and with London proof mark, the steel lock marked Water Gill, the underside of the walnut stock marked JS, having a brass trigger guard with rose and acorn decoration, the brass butt cap decorated a grotesque and marked 2, complete with ram rod, 36cm overall SOLD £1900

The hammer sits in cocked and half cocked positions well and releases properly. There are several metal pins in the stock under the barrel. The lot is otherwise generally in good condition.
