We have endeavoured to take these pictures out of the frames to know for definite what they are painted on but they have been very solidly framed and it is difficult ot take them out with making permament marks to the frames etc which we are unwilling to do in case they need to be returned to the vendor. We believe that the paintings are on a metal (perhaps copper) panel. Both are in very good condition There is some light cracking to the paint which can be seen in the additional images and a small patch where there is some paint missing to the very top centre of the painting. Both are signed but very differently, one being monogrammed to the bottom left hand corner and the other signed to the bottom right but they are of different cities and were undoubtedly painted at different times.
