18th Century miniatures, a pair of oval portrait studies of a lady and gentleman, unsigned 3 1.4" x 3 1/4" Labels en verso 'Richelea after R Cosway 1740 and Miss Perry af R Cosway' SOLD £270

These miniatures are painted on ivory. The man is slightly warped. The gentleman has a hairline crack running from his forehead and some scratches surrounding his head. The lady also has a hairline crack running down from the top and some paint loss at the top. Additional images available.
