It must be pointed out that there are actually 2 different dinner services, both Royal Worcester but only one is marked Evesham. Images of each mark are illustrated. Working through the catalogue description, the condition is as follows; Tea pot very good condition although some very slight rubbing to the gilt on the spout. 3 dinner plates all very good condition, no rubbing, chips, cracks or knife marks. 7 x 9" side plates are actually 2 evesham pattern both in excellent order and 5 other mark, all of which are thicker than the Evesham, having thicker rims and decoration to teh centre rather than around the plate. All fo these are very rubbed to the gilding. 10 x 8" plates are 2 Evesham both in excellent order and 8 of the second mark, again all rubbed. The 10x 7" plates are actually 6.5" plates of which 5 are Evesham and in excellent order and 5 are the other mark and are all slightly rubbed. The 8 twin handled soup bowls and saucers are all Evesham and all in excellent order as are the 3 coffee cups and saucers. The 9 tea cups and saucers are made up of two different sized cups, 4 small 5 slightly larger all marked evesham all in good order except the 1 chipped saucer. The cream jug is ribbed and is actually the second mark in green not black. The gilt to the jug is very rubbed. The twin handled tureen and lid are matched and fit each other although the lid has two chips to the side of the handle (illustrated). The cake plate is coxed and in excellent order, however it is Arden pattern adn not Evesham.
