Lot 649
The Derby plate within this lot is damaged, as catalogued. It has a very old stapled repair, joining the centre section to the rim. Where the staple is missing, the broken section is loose. There are numerous heavy contact marks and the gilding to the decoration is very rubbed. The plate has a faint pinky/red mark to the reverse.
