A pair of 19th Century Meissen porcelain sweetmeat dishes supported by a figure of gallant and belle, the base with cross swords mark and incised H166 and impressed 74 8.5", fingers missing and some chips ILLUSTRATED SOLD £1200

The male figure has damage to the flowers and leaves all over the piece. The handle is missing from the basket. There is a chip to the rim of the man's hat. There is one finger missing from each hand and the piece has rubbing to the gilded decoration. The female figure has damage to the flowers and leaves all over the piece. The handle is missing from the basket. There are very minor chips to her hat. There is a crack in the basket behind where the handle should be.The crack (which is more like a firing crack) is between where the handle was and the nearest flower. The crack is 1.75cm long. The thumb is missing from her right hand and there is a chip to the end of the right foot.
