Lot 659
A handsome 19th Century Japanese Imari porcelain bowl with panelled decoration, decorated mythical beasts within gilt floral panels 18" (rim slightly rubbed, slight blue stain to the base and very slight smudge to one side) £500-700

The bowl measures 45cm in diameter and is 18cm high. There are no chips or cracks although there is a small hole to the centre of one of the panels, which could well be a firing fault as there is no other damage running fromthe hole. It is a very old hole as it is very dirty. There is some slight rubbing to the gilt banding. Overall, it is in very good order.
