Ferdinand Preiss, a carved ivory figure of a kneeling naked child holding in one hand a bowl and in the other an opalescent bubble on stem, the circular onyx plinth inscribed F. Preiss 3 1/2"h

The "straw" is bent, the figure is missing the tip of one finger, there is a vertical crack running from the knee to the top of the head and the base has minor chips.
