A Carltonware Toucan advertising lamp, base marked If He Can Say As You Can Guinness is Good For You and How Grand To Be a Toucan, Just Think What Toucan Do (base heavily f and r) complete with original shade £75-100
Condition report
As catalogued this lot has extensive restoration to the base of the lamp although the figure of the toucan only seems to be affected around his feet. The resoration though is no very good and the base appears lumpy and miscoloured, it is obvious where the restoration is. The lamp shade is original although this too has damage both to the front which has a small tear which has been repaired and to the back which has more extensive damage.
