The central theme of the vase is a pond, with the dragonfly and plants and flowers such as pond lily leaves etc at the base. The vase is in excellent condition. We do not believe that the rim has been ground down at all, from the angle of the rim to have been any bigger, we believe would have made the vase look out of proportion. There is a healthy gap between the dragonfly and the rim of the vase which also helps us make an educated guess that it has not been reduced at all.
