Lot 734
There is a crack to the painting on the top left hand corner and several scrapes to the painting which have been touched up. The centre of the painting has quite a large crack which is also illustrated in the additional pictures. The painting is signed and dated to the bottom right hand corner. To the back of the painting is a label which reads: CHARLES ROBERSON & COMPy. Water & Oil Colours Materials for Drawing, Painting &c 51, LONG ACRE LONDON Then on the label underneath the above is hand writted T GILES 1848 WINDSOR GREAT PARK AND CASTLE. The back of the panel is also stamped Charles Roberson & Co. The painting has obviously been re-framed in the 1950\'s/60\'s.
