A Victorian oil painting on canvas "Black Stallion in Stable" the reverse marked C F Clifton 1872 18" x 24" ILLUSTRATED SOLD £800

We do consider that the frame may be original to the painting. The painting is cracked all over. There are no signs of restoration, repair or re-lining. Although the paint is cracked there are no areas of loss. The painting is signed F Clifton 1872.
