Joseph Somalvico & Co., a large and impressive Victorian mercury barometer and thermometer, the 25cm dial marked Joseph Somalvico & Co, 16 Charles St, Hatton Garden, London, contained in a heavily carved oak case with griffins, lidded urn finials, 141cm h x 43cm w x 10cm d SOLD £110

There is a split to the top where the finial goes in, damage and repair to the top of the griffins wings, the right hand griffin is missing a foot, left hand has a repair, the button for dial recorder is not working, signs of rust to the hands, silvering to the base of the dial is showing signs of deterioration
