The mechanism does not appear to be working as it is very loose and does not snap back - we believe that the spring has failed. The ram rod is present. The gun is stamped next to the hammer (see image 5). The gun is also illegibly marked on the end of the hilt. There is some corrosion to the nipple and the barrel is also pitted.
