We consider that this chest is was formally the top section of a chest on chest. There is a large open split to the top, large splits to the right hand side, smaller splits to the left hand side. There are some sections of veneer missing around both the top right and the top left drawers. There is some beading/decoration missing from the edges. Some veneer is rising.
