A handsome 19th Century ivory and Fujiama decorated tusk 9" £150-200 ILLUSTRATED

Overall, the ivory of this tusk is in very good order, with only 2 tiny cracks running up form the wooden base. There is no damage to the tusk itself. There are several small pieces of mother of pearl missing on the petals and leaves of the decoration. There are several birds included in the decoration and 1 of them has a wing missing. There are 3 loose bits of mother of pearl inside the tusk
