Ian Green Althorp, an 18th Century 8 day striking longcase clock, the 12" arched dial with gilt spandrels, minute indicator, calendar aperture, silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals, striking on a bell, contained in a heavy quality inlaid mahogany case with long door 89"h SOLD £380

The hour hand has been restored, the case has a replacement backboard and the case is of heavy quality. The clock is complete with pendulum and weights. There is a small section of wood missing from the top of the left hand column on the hood and a small crack to the veneer above the right column. There is a split to the veneer to the body above and right of the door.
