Lot 782
There is no paint missing from the top of the portrait - we assume that the white flashes in the images are just reflections . The ivory is warped and cracked. The painting is signed De Mirbel near the right edge. We do not know what the frame is made from but appears to be moulded rather than carved. It is cast a laurel wreath to the back top right hand corner which reads A PARIS to the centre of the wreath.
