Masonic, a rare Chinese export Imari cylindrical mug, the reeded entwined handle with applied flower and leaf terminals, painted with Masonic emblems - square and compasses, level, plumb rule, crescent moon, sun, pillars, picked out in gilt, circa 1800, 15cm x 12cm diam.

This mug has a chip to the rim and some wear to the gilded rim and the painted decoration. It is otherwise generally in good condition.
