A good pair of mid 19th Century Chinese oviform vases with cylindrical necks, 1 with incised clouds across the whole body decorated in underglaze blue and red, depicting Quilin, sea monsters, turtle, bird headed fish, the 2nd vase with un-incised body decorated with figures beneath a tree with characters and marks to the body, both having unusual underglazed blue character marks surrounded by dragons 31.5cm

The vase with incised clouds has an extensive crack running around its body, the other vase has glazing flaws to the foot.
