John Coates, an 18th Century 8 day striking London longcase clock with 5 pillar movement, the 29cm arched gilt dial with silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals, strike/silent indicator, subsidiary second hand and calendar aperture, contained in a walnut case, complete with weights and pendulum, 221cm h SOLD £1700

This clock is missing one brass capital from the front of the hood and one from the side. There are various sections of beeding missing to the hood and case and sections of veneer missing from the side of the hood. The gut lines are intact.
