A sampler by Mary Elizabeth Hooley aged 11, with letters of the alphabet in horizontal formation above a floral frieze and a seated female holding a lamb in a landscape with cottages, enclosed in a floral border, dated 1849, 30cm x 30cm, within a stained wood frame.
