Jean Antoine Lepine (1720-1814), a French 8 day striking carriage alarm clock, striking on 2 gongs, the enamelled dial marked Lepine Aaria Place des Vitores, the back plate marked 27367, contained in a gilt metal gourd shape case, complete with key and original leather carrying case SOLD £1500

The carrying handle is broken and the leather case is heavily worn to the interior and exterior. The clock is currently in working condition and the striker is working.
