A set of 8 William IV mahogany dining chairs, 2 having arms with scroll carved spars above Trafalgar seats decorated flowers and song birds, raised on turned lapette carved tapered legs, peg feet SOLD £700

There is some worm to all of the chairs. All of the seats are upholstered with woolwork panels which are faded but useable. Chair 1 (carver) has a good frame, there is a small filler to the back of the cresting rail Chair 2 has repaired back legs and chips to the feet. There is heavy loss of filler to the back rail. Chair 3 has a repaired back rail Chair 4 has a loose frame Chair 5 is repaired to the spar and cresting rail Chair 6 is in good order Chair 7 has a small repair to the back rail Chair 8 (carver) has a heavy repair to the back rail and a loose frame
