The cover - the figural finial has been re-soldered to the top and is also missing something from the right hand. The open work borders has solder and repair in 8 places around the piercing and is dented. The hallmark to the underside of the base has only CR visible from the makers mark although the date matches the base which is hallmarked Ramsden Carr.The marks to the base are good and clear. The base is in generally good condition. The planishing is rubbed. The base is missing one drop and chain. The base had been soldered onto something, leaving 3 spots of solder to the bottom edge. Overall the condition is fair/good.
