A George III engraved silver salver with bracketed border, the centre engraved a walking heraldic beast, raised on 3 panel supports, London 1796, 10 ozs ILLUSTRATED SOLD £320

The salver measures 21.5cm in diameter. The salver has 2 tears, which if at looking at the salver as a clock face, are at 6 o'clock and 8 o'clock. The hall marks are clear although the Makers mark is slightly obscured.
