Lot 864
A Victorian white and red ivory chess set contained in a rosewood box with hinged lid £75-125

We do believe that the set is ivory, as that is how we have catalogued it. The Kings are 3 1/2\" in height. The set is complete but there is some damage. One of the white pawns is chipped. The red queen, 1 red bishop and 1 red pawn are also chipped and another red pawn has a crack running around the main body of the top ball.
