This chess set is made from a fruitwood and probably dates from around the 1960s. The king is 9cm high and the pieces are weighted. Black queen has an old repair to crown and 2 small holes half way down the body, both bishops have small chips to the base, the rook has a small hole and small chip to base, 2 black pawns are chipped, 2 have split to base, white king has a small blemish to base, white queen chip to crown and small chip to base, both white bishops have blemishes to the base, knight has crack to base, rook has split to body and slight blemish to base and pawn has a split to base
