Howard Hodgkin (British, 1932-1917), "Summer", etching and aquatint with carborundum and hand-colouring in acrylic on Two Rivers paper, signed with initials and dated '97 lower right, dedicated "for Alan from Howard" lower left in pencil, sheet size 29cm x 37cm, within a stained wood frame. Note: published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York in an edition of eighty, there were also ten artist's proofs and five printer's proofs.
