A William IV oak and metal bound plate box/sea chest with iron drop handles and brass plaque to the front marked Captain Donnelly, the interior with retailers plaque Wimbush Goldsmiths to the King 166 Regent Street London, 18"h x 26"w x 16"d, complete with key, (Captain Donnelly later became Admiral Sir Ross Donnelly and had been part of Horatio Lord Nelson's fleet blockading the French at Toulon 1804) SOLD £280

There is very slight damage to the metal banding on the top right hand middle. The key to the trunk is being kept in the office for safe keeping. There was at some point a plaque to the top of the lid and the nail holes are still visible.
