An 18th Century French 8 day striking mantel clock with silk suspension, striking on 2 gongs, having a gilt and enamelled dial with Roman numerals, contained in an arched inlaid walnut case with gilt metal mounts and turned ivory supports SOLD £440

There is split to the top of the walnut case and a mark to the dial at 12 o'clock. There does not appear to be any repair to the mechanism although it is not currently working.
