These chairs have been \"smartened\" up in recent years. They have been re-upholstered in red velour adn sadly, have been varnished which has left them rather shiny. The \"f\" chair is f as it has a broken leg (the rear left hand leg), which had been glued adn stuck back on as you can see the residue of the the glue but which has broken off again and is now missing.
