A Victorian tortoiseshell tea caddy of serpentine outline, inlaid mother of pearl raised on bun feet 8" ILLUSTRATED SOLD £300

There is some damage to the escutcheon. The mother of pearl inlay is missing from around the escutcheon. There is some damage to the front left of the bottom rim and a repair to the back of the right hand side of the bottom rim. There is damage to the bottom rim on the left hand side. The left hand panel is rising slightly and there is a small crack. There is some damage to the panels on the lid. There are rising panels and numerous cracks to the back of the box and back of the bottom rim. The hinges have been moved. The inside of the lid is chipped and cracked. There are some cracks to the inside rim of the box.
