**Dame Laura Knight (British, 1877-1970), Female Nude, pen with ink, signed and inscribed "to our dear friends Gladys and Saxon Snell", 15.5cm x 12cm, within a gilt Bourlet frame. Note: Thomas Saxon Snell was the brother of Dorothy "Dolly Snell" who regularly sat for Laura.
