Lot 927
A pair of George II baluster shaped silver sugar sifters with armorial decoration, London 1744, possibly Charles Frederick Kaudler, 13 ozs

The sifters are made from a good guage of silver. The cartouche to both sifters are heavily rubbed. There is heavy solder to the base of one of the sifters but both bases have been repaired and the makers mark is obscured on both. The grills to the underside of the tops are later than the sifters. One sifter has been top stamped. There are very light dents to the tops.
