A 19th Century Canton carved ivory fan with foliate carved blades and decorated a figural study of a stylised temple together with associated box ILLUSTRATED SOLD £600

The main blades are in very good order. There are no major chips or restoration. The four centre blades are dis-connected from the bamboo ends. There are a few small splits and some rubbing to the paper. The applied faces to the figures are all present. The box interior is in poor condition. Overall, the lot is in very good condition. The fan is 28cm in length when closed and open it is 52 cm.
