Gaylayde, a 1930's inlaid figured walnut dining suite comprising oval extending dining table with 1 extra leaf, the edge with inlaid decoration, raised on square tapered supports 75cm h x 107cm wide x 142cm l x 182cm long when extended, 6 inlaid dining chairs - 4 standard chairs 88cm h x 48cm w x 41cm d and 2 carvers 90cm h x 52cm w x 45cm d upholstered in yellow material raised on square tapered supports with H framed stretchers and a matching sideboard with raised mirrored back fitted 2 drawers flanked by pair of cupboards, with ivory handles 125cm h x 168cm w x 58cm d (This suite was a gift from the staff of Vokins Department Store in Hove to H Vokin on the occasion of his marriage) Ivory Exemption Certificate MYAJ1H9S  £200-300

The inlaid decoration is inset with ivory in places, the dining table has light contact marks in places, slight bubbling to the veneer to the top, the chairs have small sections of veneer missing placing, 1 carver has a stain to the upholstery, the blue mirrored glass back to the sideboard is showing signs of deterioration, 2 small sections of veneer missing to the top long drawer and to the right base of the pedestal, all items are sun bleached in places
