A 19th Century portrait miniature "Seated Gentleman in Library" 7" x 5" oval, contained in a leather case £50-75
Condition report
The picture isn't particularly miniature, it measures 5" wide x 7" max tall. The glass is broken although some still remains around the edge of the frame. There are no cracks to teh painting although there are a few little spots where the paint has flaked off. There is also one relatively large patch on the gentleman's right arm where the paint has been rubbed away completely.
