A 19th Century Continental deeply carved oak hall chair, the back carved a cross with challis above angels, raised on turned and block supports 118cm h x 50cm w x 41cm d (seat 26cm x 30cm) SOLD £110

This loy has some cracks and a small square of replaced timber to the reverse of the back support. A carved "berry" is missing from the decoration on the right hand side of the back support. There is a small area of damage to the left hand side of the apron beneath the seat and the ebonising is worn on the seat.
