Lot 989
A 19th Century Turkish, mahogany and inlaid mother of pearl table, the inlaid top with fabric panel to the centre, the base fitted a drawer with waisted and shaped supports to the centre with H framed stretcher 74cm h x 110cm w x 64cm d, together with a pair of matching chairs with arched backs and upholstered seats raised on square tapered supports 98cm h x 43cm w x 40cm d (seat 28cm x 28cm) SOLD £440

This table has a split to one end of the top (near the inlaid Mother of pearl panel). This has caused some loss of inlay and bubbling to the veneer around it. There is some minor loss of veneer to the blocks where the stretchers meet the legs and some to the tops of the legs. Each upright has a vertical crack. The chair frames are slightly loose, both have loss of inlay to the tops of the legs and corners of the seats. One chair is missing a section of moulding from the top of the back rest and has a small area of damage to one side where the back rest meets the seat. The table is sun bleached in places
