A compass by Dollond of London contained in a leather carrying case SOLD £65

Whilst the compass does appear to be silver coloured, there are no hall marks and there are a couple of areas where the silver is worn, so we consider it to be brass with silver plate. The needle moves freely. There are contact marks and scratches to the glass. The compass is stamped DOLLOND. LONDON to the outer edge
