Isambard Kingdom Brunel interest, a stereoscopic slide by Robert Howlett and George Downes.  The arched photos featuring Captain Harrison leaning against SS Great Eastern.  The card impressed bottom left "The London Stereoscopic Company 54 Cheapside", the reverse printed "The Great Eastern In the Stereoscope Photographed by special permission of the Board of Directors Captain Harrison Commander of the Ship".  A second similar slide marked on the reverse with pink label 8 "THE LEVIATHAN, STEAM SHIP Forward cradle and sheave for hauling tackle" detailing construction of the ship.
