After Hippolyte-Paul Delaroche (French 1797-1856) - Emperor Napoleon in his study, 19th Century oil on canvas 35.5cm x 29.5cm, within a gilt composition frame.  Note: the present work is a copy of Delaroche's painting, originally commissioned in 1838 by Louisa, the 6th Countess of Sandwich.
