A silver and gilt coronet worn to the Coronation of King George VI by Countess Mildred Anne Buxton GBE JP (1866 - 1955). The gilt coronet of 8 strawberry leaves and 8 "pearls" with crimson caul having gold braided mushroom finial, trimmed in ermine with silk interior. The coronet hallmarked London 1936 with maker's mark of EB (likely Edward Barnard and Sons) and each "pearl" stamped lion passant. With original cardboard box marked Countess Buxton
