A Georgian mahogany chest on chest with fluted canted corners, the moulded cornice with Grecian key and blind fret work frieze, the upper section fitted 3 short drawers above 3 long drawers, the base fitted 3 long drawers with ivory escutcheons and brass swan neck drop handles, raised on bracket feet 40"w x 21"d x 74"h ILLUSTRATED SOLD £500

The ivory escutcheon is damaged to the first long drawer. There is a small piece of repair immediately above the drawer. A small piece of beading has been replaced on the bottom of the second long drawer. There are sections of beading missing from some of the drawers. The legs show signs of repair - the front right leg has been repaired and has new veneer. Both sides of the cornice have been repaired and there is some damage to the fretwork decoration on the cornice. There are splits to the panels on either side on the base and top of sections.
