A Victorian and later mahogany bracket clock in the Georgian style, having a silvered chapter ring inscribed W & H Trimnell Canterbury, the domed case with brass carrying handle and on brass feet 18" x 11" x 6" ILLUSTRATED SOLD £650

Please note the amended description of this lot. If the dial is correct to the clock then the clock must be Victorian through to Edwardian. The case panels are machine cut as can be seen on the inside of the case. The domed top of this clock has some cracks to the veneer. The case is missing the back right foot as you look at it.The clock is complete with the key for the front door but we do not have the key to the back door. The movement is an 8 day fusee movement. The clock strikes on a bell. The back plate is in good clean condition.
