A pair of 19th century ambrotype portraits of Sarah Slingsby of Carleton House, Yorkshire and her brother Frank Grindlay of Liverpool, each 11.5cm x 9cm, within Hogarth style frames. Note: Sarah Slingsby was the mother of William and John Slingsby who founded the Carleton Mill in North Yorkshire.
