A 16th/17th century carved and polychrome painted Romayne oak relief portrait in profile set inside a carved arch, 29cm x 26cm, within an ebonised wood frame, purportedly from Bindon Abbey in Dorset. Provenance: Colonel William Woodforde of Ansford House, Somerset, thence by descent to George Augustus Woodforde (1801-1877).
